In 1988 Grant and Shirley realized a dream when they moved to Huntsville, Ontario to turn Pinestead Crafts, which had, up until then, been a part time venture, into a full time business. They opened a studio in their home, a stone farmhouse, on the edge of town and marketed their product from this home base, and through arts and crafts shows and home shows. Today, 18 years later, Pinestead Furniture is housed in an old livery barn in the heart of downtown Huntsville. The setting is perfect, for the charm and feel of this historic building fittingly matches both the warmth and richness of the furniture found within it's walls. Pinestead Furniture is truly a family run business, with Shirley and Grant as owner/operators and family members as support staff.
